A design firm, Vickyheldan Interior Designs and Architecture, has trained interior designers in Lagos on building sustainable brands and improving service delivery, as part of efforts to strengthen Africa’s creative ecosystem.
The initiative, also scheduled to hold in Abuja and Delta State, forms part of the company’s contribution to the growth of Africa’s creative ecosystem.
Speaking during the programme, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vickyheldan Interior Designs and Architecture, Victory Njoku, said the interior decoration sector has continued to witness growth, driven by the increasing demand for functional and aesthetically appealing spaces.
According to her, the mentorship platform created by the firm is designed to foster leadership, creativity and strategic partnerships capable of enhancing the performance of Africa’s design ecosystem.
“Our intention is to equip the next generation of leaders of Africa’s design ecosystem with the needed skills to build structure, strategy and become the brand authority they are hoping to become,” she said.
Njoku noted that the firm has distinguished itself through innovation in the design and execution of residential and commercial projects.
She explained that the company specialises in full-service design, including remodelling, architectural design, custom-made furniture, local and international sourcing of premium pieces, interior and exterior planning, styling and project execution.
“With a legacy of excellence and a growing global presence, we remain committed to redefining luxury and shaping spaces that elevate the art of living,” she added.
Also speaking, Wealth Strategist and Financial Educator, Aisha Adedeji, described the training as timely, stressing that it would help professionals in the interior decoration sector improve their operational efficiency and manage their brands more effectively for increased profitability.
She said the knowledge shared at the masterclass would empower participants with the financial and business skills required to build thriving enterprises.
Meanwhile, the firm has announced plans to offer five free slots to aspiring interior decorators as the masterclass moves to Abuja on June 25 before proceeding to Asaba, Delta State.
