Toyota Nigeria Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s economic development, with the company pledging to sustain investments in customer-focused mobility solutions, innovation and service delivery despite prevailing economic challenges.
Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria Limited, Mr Kunle Ade-Ojo, made the commitment at the company’s 2026 Awards and Customer Night in Lagos, where he said the automaker would continue to pursue industry leadership while contributing meaningfully to national economic growth as a responsible corporate citizen.
According to him, Toyota Nigeria will continue to adapt its products and services to meet the changing needs of customers while maintaining the global Toyota philosophy of putting customers first.
“As we look into the future, we remain resolute in our pursuit of excellence. We will continue to innovate, adapt and elevate our product offerings and service delivery,” Ade-Ojo said.
He noted that Toyota’s success in Nigeria has been built on a commitment to creating value for customers, adding that the company has invested significantly in a nationwide after-sales support network designed to provide a seamless ownership experience.
“Beyond delivering vehicles that meet diverse mobility needs, we have invested significantly in building a nationwide after-sales ecosystem designed to provide a seamless, reassuring and premium ownership experience,” he said.
The Toyota Nigeria boss said the company’s ambition was not only to sustain its leadership position in the automotive industry but also to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic development as a responsible corporate citizen.
Ade-Ojo stressed that Toyota’s global vision extends beyond vehicle sales to enriching lives through mobility, advancing technology responsibly and supporting a more sustainable future.
He said the company would continue to be guided by the core values of continuous improvement, quality, durability, reliability and customer-centricity as it seeks to exceed customer expectations.
The managing director attributed Toyota Nigeria’s growth over the years to the loyalty of customers and the support of dealers, employees, suppliers, financial institutions and other business partners.
He also acknowledged the contributions of Toyota Motor Corporation and commended the company’s Board of Directors, led by Chairman, Chief Michael Ade-Ojo, for providing strategic direction and support that have helped shape Toyota Nigeria’s growth and market leadership.
Ade-Ojo assured stakeholders that Toyota Nigeria would continue to pursue innovation, sustainability and superior value creation as it enters a new phase of growth, expressing confidence that the company would achieve even greater milestones through collaboration with its customers and partners.
