KingMakers, a leading African gaming and digital entertainment company, has announced that it has received two industry awards in recognition of its work in responsible gaming and the application of artificial intelligence in the sector.
The company was named Best Responsible Platform Brand of the Year at the Brand Handlers Summit & Awards, in acknowledgement of its efforts in player protection, responsible gaming advocacy, and the promotion of safe betting practices across its operations.
On the same day, KingMakers also received the AI Innovation Entertainment Award at the Nigeria Martech Awards. The award celebrates organisations leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation within the entertainment and gaming industry.
The dual recognition, according to the organisers, underscores the company’s growing influence in balancing technological innovation with strong consumer protection standards.
Commenting on the awards, Gossy Ukanwoke, Managing Director of KingMakers, said the recognition reflects the organisation’s broader mission to combine innovation with responsibility.
“These awards are a testament to the work being done across our business. We believe innovation and responsibility must go hand in hand. Being recognised for both our responsible gaming initiatives and our advancements in AI-driven solutions reflects our commitment to creating a safer, smarter, and more engaging experience for our customers,” he said.
The responsible gaming award highlights the company’s investments in player protection tools, awareness campaigns, compliance systems, and other initiatives aimed at ensuring a safe and transparent gaming environment.
The AI innovation award, meanwhile, recognises the deployment of advanced technologies designed to improve customer engagement, personalise user experiences, and strengthen operational performance across its platforms.
Industry observers say the recognition further cements KingMakers’ position as one of the continent’s fast-growing digital entertainment companies, with a focus on innovation, trust, and sustainability.
The company reiterated its commitment to continued investment in technology and responsible gaming initiatives as the industry evolves across African markets.
