For years, Nigerian Afro-Adura artist Ayotola Marvelous Nmah, professionally known as Marvin Nmah, has allowed his work to speak louder than his achievements.

While many public figures rush to announce every milestone, Marvin chose to remain silent about one of the most significant recognitions of his career. In 2025, during the prestigious Nigeria Week London event, he was honored with the Fast Rising Artist Award, a recognition of his growing impact on the Nigerian and international music scene.

Having consistently attended Nigeria Week London since 2023, Marvin has witnessed the platform’s role in celebrating excellence among Nigerians across various industries. Yet, despite receiving the award himself in 2025, he never publicly announced or celebrated the achievement, choosing instead to stay focused on his artistic growth and long-term vision.

Now, a year later, Ayotola Marvelous Nmah is returning to Nigeria Week London 2026 in a new capacity. Rather than receiving an award, he has been invited as a special guest presenter to honor and present awards to this year’s recipients.

Reflecting on the recognition, Marvin explained that his silence was intentional.

“I’ve attended Nigeria Week London since 2023, and receiving the Fast Rising Artist Award in 2025 was truly an honor. I never felt the need to make a big announcement about it because I believe recognition is best appreciated through continued hard work. While I am grateful for the award and this year’s invitation to present awards, I still believe there is much more to accomplish. Every achievement reminds me that the journey is still ongoing.”
