Veteran actress, Abiola Atanda popularly known as Madam Kofo  has cause to disagree recently with Tunde Oshinibosi (Laface) over a demeaning statement the former made against the lifestyle of her colleagues in the movie industry.

Laface who is the founder of the Yoruba Movie Academy Awards(YMAA), while speaking at the award night, held early this month, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, insinuated in good faith that  “most movie stars are poor people who desire to be encouraged.’

Angered by this  insinuation, Madam Kofo quickly mounted the stage amidst applaud to put the record straight. She declared: “we are not poor people. Take a good look at me and you would behold an evidence of good living.”
