.Meets apex leaders

The Apex Leaders in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area on Tuesday, received Comrade Ayodele Adewale, a frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives, Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Lagos State, in an endorsement meeting marked by warmth, goodwill, and constructive engagement.

During the interaction, the leaders exchanged pleasantries with Adewale, offered prayers for his success and provided strategic advise as he prepares for the forthcoming APC primary election.

The visit formed part of Adewale’s ongoing grassroots consultations with key leaders and stakeholders across the constituency. The aspirant seized the occasion to pledge commitment to attracting development and social empowerment for the people if elected.

The meeting was chaired by Prince Rasheed Otolorin, Chairman of the Apex body and former Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, jointly presided over by Prince Otolorin and Alhaja Memunat Ajao.

In attendance were prominent members of the Apex leadership, including; Dotun Adegbola, Mrs. Omotanwa Olusi, Shajobi, Otunba Banjo Ayeni, Libari Oseni, Dayo Ariyo, Mrs. Lyndia Otejeh, Aberuagba, Okeshina, Shanu, Ariyo, Mrs. Francis and Mr. Elebute Abiodun, APC Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area.

Also present were: Mr. Ayo Ogungbiye, former APC Chairman in the Local Government Area; Mr. Ajayi; Tijani; and Sunday Adedeji, while Prince Sultan Adeniji Adele attended briefly before departing for another urgent engagement.

The meeting underscored the importance of consultation, unity and internal cohesion within the party as the APC prepares for its primary elections.

Comrade Adewale was urged not to relent in reaching out to all members of the party and relevant stakeholders.

In response, Ayodele expressed appreciation to the leaders and pledged to take all advise seriously.

He further assured that he would prioritize Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency in his legislative engagements, with a view to attracting development and social empowerment for the people of the Federal Constituency through constructive lobbying and advocacy.

Adewale, a former Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, also served as APC Lagos State Organising Secretary and Lagos State Coordinator for the APC E-Registration Exercise, which recorded Lagos State emerging first among the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT with a very big merging.

The APC chieftain, previously served as Mobilization and Liaison Officer to Chief Anthony Enahoro CFR-led Pro-National Conference Organisation (PRONACO); Secretary to the late Dr. Beko Ransome-Kuti-led June 12 Coalition and Stakeholders; and Secretary to Prof. Wole Soyinka’s Citizens Forum (CF).

He also served as National Public Relations Officer of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, and President of the Lagos State University Students’ Union Government.

Adewale is a well-known political figure within Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large. He assured the Apex leaders that he would not take their love and support for granted.
