The Warri Urhobo APC Leadership Council has congratulated the newly elected State Chairman of its party, Chief Solomon Arenyeka; the newly elected Delta South Senatorial District Chairman, Chief Emman Amgbaduba; and other State EXCO members on their well-deserved election, which is a testament to their respective commitment, leadership capacity, and dedication to the progress and unity of our great party.

Disclosing this in a statement signed by Olorogun Bernard Okumagba (Chairman), Hon. Chief Benson Obire (Vice Chairman), Chief Vincent Okudolor (Secretary), Chief Dr. Westham Adehor, Hon. Mark Ikpuri, Olorogun Victor Okumagba, Chief Isaac Emifoniye, Chief Ann Gagiyovwi, and Chief Peter Agiri, the council said: “We are confident that with the consensus-building track record of our new State party Chairman supported by other EXCO members, the party will blossom. Our expectation is that the party, particularly in Delta South, will experience greater cohesion, growth and renewed strength as we work collectively to advance the ideals and objectives of our party.

“As we welcome the emergence of the new State Exco, we wish to respectfully reiterate our long-standing position that Delta South Senatorial District is composed of four (4) indigenous ethnic groups, namely: Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri, and Urhobo. These ethnic nationalities collectively form the foundation of the district and have continually contributed to the development and political strength of our party and the state.

“In this regard, we strongly urge the Party at all levels, as well as the Delta State Government, to recognize this important diversity and ensure that representation, infrastructure development, opportunities, and all dividends of democracy from both government and the party are fairly, evenly, and equitably distributed among the four ethnic groups within Delta South Senatorial District.

“Such fairness and inclusiveness will further strengthen unity, foster mutual respect, and promote sustainable development across the district.

“Once again, we congratulate our new State Chairman and all members of the new State EXCO on this milestone achievement and wish them a successful and impactful tenure in office”.
