Enugu — Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd has reinforced its people-centred corporate culture with the presentation of two brand-new cars to its top-performing realtors at its end-of-year celebration held at the International Conference Centre, Enugu.
The event, which was aimed at recognising excellence and dedication within the company’s realtor network, attracted staff, partners, and stakeholders from across the real estate sector.
The vehicles were presented by the company’s brand ambassador and Nollywood veteran, Mrs. Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as Mama G, who commended both the award recipients and the management of Powell Homes for their consistency, integrity, and commitment to value delivery.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ozokwor described Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd as a dependable real estate brand that guarantees genuine property ownership and peace of mind for investors.
“The relationship the company maintains with its staff, realtors, customers, and the media speaks volumes about its integrity. Powell Homes is a brand you can trust. Any property you buy from them is truly yours, without the usual stress associated with land acquisition,” she said.
She added that her association with the company was guided by its reputation for trust and excellence, noting that Powell Homes and Shelters has consistently delivered value to investors and partners.
“I don’t associate with places where people are stressed. Powell Homes has given investors peace of mind, and that is why I am proud to be part of the brand,” she stated.
Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer of Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd, Architect Onyekachi Emmanuel, said the company deliberately rewards excellence to motivate its realtors and promote healthy competition.
He explained that the 2025 edition of the reward programme was particularly significant because the performance benchmark for winning cars was raised, yet several realtors still met the criteria within a short period.
“The purpose of this event is to motivate and encourage our hardworking realtors. Beyond commissions, we reward outstanding performance with valuable items such as cars, refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, and other household appliances. This has been our culture for the past two years, and we do this twice annually,” he said.
According to him, had the previous performance benchmark been maintained, more vehicles would have been given out.
Reports indicate that the two cars presented at the event brought the total number of vehicles awarded by the company in 2025 to seven, alongside other incentives including smartphones, generators, and household appliances.
Highlighting the company’s market positioning, Emmanuel said Powell Homes and Shelters is driven by value delivery.
“For every property purchased from us, value is guaranteed. When our properties are compared with others, the difference in quality and value is clear,” he said.
In their separate remarks, the car award recipients, Mrs. Njideka Chinonso and Mrs. Eze Victoria Rose, who emerged as the highest-selling realtors, expressed gratitude to the company’s management for recognising their efforts.
They described the gesture as a strong motivation that has further strengthened their commitment to the brand, noting that Powell Homes and Shelters rewards hard work and excellence.
