By GBENGA ARIYIBI
ADO-EKITI—The authorities of  Ekiti State Waste Management Agency,EKWMA, has vowed to seal off any defaulting bank  operating in the state that has failed to pay the N5,000 monthly waste disposal fee.

Mean time,  the  agency has completed arrangement to drag 232 persons to a mobile court   for allegedly defying the payment of monthly  N500 waste disposal fee to the  contractors handling the work  in  Ado-Ekiti

Chairman of the agency, Mr.  Morakinyo Adebayo, said this at briefing  in Ado-Ekiti, yesterday.

Morakinyo, a former member of the state House of Assembly, expressed disgust over the non-challant attitude by  some of the private organisations and individuals over  the payment of the refuse  disposal fees

He, however, pledged  that no defaulter would be treated as sacred cows, stressing that  the agency had concluded arrangement to drag the defaulters before the mobile court to try the offenders.

The chairman noted that banks operating in Lagos  pay with enthusiasm, N50,000 to Lagos State Waste Management Agency  monthly for the same service, which the  banks in  Ekiti State had refused to value.
