APC Chieftian, Dalori visits families of bomb blast victims for condolences in Konduga

The Deputy National Chairman (North) of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori has visited Konduga local government area in Borno state, where he condoled with the parents, relations and friends of 12 persons who lost their lives in recent female suicide bomb explosion at fish market in Konduga town.

Apart from the 12 civilians killed, 22 other people sustained various degree of injuries during the incident.

The APC Chieftain who was accompanied by top politicians and other government officials were recieved at the Central Jummat Mosque in Konduga, venue for the joint condolences.

Addressing the families of the deceased and the sympathizers, Dalori commiserate with them, and enjoined them to take what happened as the act of Allah (God).

He also prayed Allah to grant Aljannatul Firdaus to the souls of the departed, and wished the injured ones quick recovery.

Speaking to Journalists on the incident, Hon. Dalori urged security agencies in the area, particularly, the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Vigilantes/Hunters to intensity their efforts by carrying out 24 hours surveillance within and outside the neighborhoods of the community with a view to cumb the area of suspicious elements terrorizing the area.

He also commended the military for their sacrifices while enjoining the military to beef up security within and around the council and other areas.

” I am here in my home town to condole with my people over the tragic bomb blast that was mastermind by a female suicide bomber which claimed 12 lives with 22 others injured.

“Let me pray that such calamity will not play out again as peace has already returned to this community.

“As we engaged with one another, i urged the people in this area to support regular congregational prayers in the town for peace, unity and progress.

“Yes, our military and other security agencies, including men of the Civilian Joint Task Force, Hunters and Vigilantes are doing good jobs, there is the need to intensify more efforts to eliminate terrorists from their hideouts”. Dalori stated.

Dalori however announced an undisclosed financial support to members of the bereaved families and the injured ones.

He also donated medical drugs and other materials for the victims receiving treatment at the Konduga and Maiduguri Specialists Hospitals.

Dalori upon returning back to Maiduguri before proceeding back to Abuja also paid condolence visit to late Baba Modu in Muna community who passed away recently due to illness.

Late Modu was the former APC Vice Chairman of Konduga and also a strong politician during his time.

Dalori was accompanied by Deputy State Chairman Borno South, Hon. Aliyu Yerima, Engr. Kabir Wanori, Executive Secretary, Borno State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (BICTDA), Chairman Konduga local government area, Hon. Abba Abari, Mustapha Daima, APC Party Chairman of Kaga local government, stakeholders and APC teaming supporters.
