…Seek Unity Among Christians, Church Leaders

The Kingdom Impact Vision International Outreach (KIVI) has called on church leaders and ministers to embrace unity for the expansion of the gospel.

This appeal was made by KIVI’s global leader, Junior Nwaubani, during a collaboration meeting with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ijebu Land, held at Restoration Prayer City, Isonyin, Odole-Apunren, Ijebu. Themed “Divine Encounter with the Almighty,” the gathering emphasized the urgent need for unity among Christians to fulfill the mandate of soul-winning.

“The Kingdom of Darkness Trembles When We Unite”

Addressing the ministers, Nwaubani urged Christians to set aside doctrinal differences and work together, stressing that unity in the body of Christ weakens the enemy’s strongholds.

“When we unite, it threatens the devil. Nothing frightens him more than seeing Christians understand the power of working together. What I lack, another minister has. We need each other, and it doesn’t take much.”

He continued: “God is at work individually in our lives, but for us to advance as we should, we must function as a unified body. If we grasp this, the gospel will spread more effectively. To efficiently reach out to souls, we need collaboration, strategic networking, and a shared vision. The Bible makes it clear—Jesus gave us one assignment: to win souls. How well are we carrying out this mandate?”

Speaking at the event, Sister Abiodun Williams, KIVI’s National Team Coordinator, emphasized that unity among believers is God’s will.

“God desires unity, as seen in His prayer for the Church in John 17:21,” she said.

Williams explained that KIVI is not a church and does not engage in doctrinal debates but is fully committed to working with like-minded churches. The organization partners with churches in evangelism and entrusts new converts to them for spiritual growth and maturity.

“The Bible says one will chase a thousand, but two will put ten thousand to flight. Unity brings divine blessings. When the body of Christ works together, there is a greater force, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, God’s power and glory will descend mightily among us.”

She further stated: “Our mission in Ijebu Land is soul-winning—bringing Christian leaders together to reignite the fire of evangelism. This is not about denominations; it is about God’s kingdom. The King is coming soon, and we must populate His kingdom.”

According to her, KIVI, which started in Nigeria just two years ago, is now present in nine states.

“KIVI is a movement of the Holy Spirit, spreading like wildfire. God has been faithful—thousands of souls have been won, discipled, and connected with churches for proper follow-up and growth.”

Responding to the call for unity, Pastor Idowu Matthew, State Liaison Officer of CAN for Ijebu and Remo Land, urged Christians to set aside rivalry and embrace unity for the progress of the Church.

“CAN wholeheartedly welcomes KIVI and is ready to collaborate in soul-winning. Beyond evangelism, this partnership will strengthen the bond among Christians and ministers, making the Church more impactful.”

Pastor Matthew also challenged Christians to abandon sectionalism, denominationalism, personal ambition, and ego.

“These were not found among Jesus’ disciples. For true unity to be established, we must let go of certain things we cling to. With the help of God, the current leadership of CAN in Ogun State, alongside organizations like KIVI, will work to restore the Church’s stability in unity and confront the forces of darkness.”
