The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has witnessed a significant boost in its membership as prominent political figures from various opposition parties recently declared their allegiance to the ruling party.

The BAT Ideological Group (BIG), a support group within the APC, has described the development as a testament to the inclusive governance style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the strategic leadership of Governor Uba Sani.

According to the group, the influx of new members, particularly from Southern Kaduna, signals growing confidence in the APC’s developmental policies and commitment to addressing historical challenges in the region. The group highlighted the recent approval of a new university in the area as one of the administration’s efforts to uplift communities traditionally seen as opposition strongholds.

“We are happy to welcome our brothers and sisters to the APC family. Under the leadership of President Tinubu, every Nigerian, regardless of political background, will enjoy the dividends of democracy,” the group stated.

The BAT Ideological Group also commended Governor Uba Sani for his inclusive approach to governance, describing his administration’s policies as a unifying force that has bridged political divides in the state.

The notable personalities who have joined the APC include Sen. Danjuma Laar; Hon. Godfrey Ali Gaiya (Former Member, House of Representatives); Hon. Amos Gwamna Magaji (Serving Member, House of Representatives, Zangon Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency); Hon. Donatus K. Mathew (Member, House of Representatives, Kaura Federal Constituency); Hon. Henry Marah Zakarieh (Member, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Jaba Constituency); Hon. Samuel Kambai Koza (Member, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Zango Constituency); Barr. Emmanuel Kantiok (Member, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Zonkwa Constituency) among several others.

The APC leadership in the state expressed optimism that the new members would contribute positively to the party’s growth and the overall development of Kaduna State.
