In the year 2000, a divine calling echoed through the heart of Apostle Success Samuel Haruna, PhD, leading to the establishment of the House of Bliss International Church.
This church was not just a place of worship; it was envisioned as a beacon of hope and a source of transformation within the community. The Holy Spirit’s guidance became the foundation upon which the church was built, and since its inception, it has been dedicated to making a profound impact through various outreach programs.
The House of Bliss International Church has developed a reputation for its unwavering commitment to serving the community. One of its most notable initiatives is the support provided to widows, where the church takes care of their needs, including paying their rents. This act of kindness has alleviated the struggles of many families, demonstrating the church’s dedication to compassion and support. Additionally, the church runs the Kingdom International Ministers Network, an outreach specifically designed to uplift pastors. Every year during Christmas and Easter, the church organizes a feeding program for pastors, ensuring that they receive essential food items such as rice, oil, and other staples, along with financial support to celebrate the festive seasons. Over the past three years, more than 200 pastors have benefited from these generous provisions, which include quarter bags of rice and N20,000 each for their celebrations.
Education and empowerment are also central to the church’s mission. The Kingdom Bible School, established under Apostle Success’s leadership, has seen hundreds of students graduate, equipping them with the theological knowledge necessary for ministry. Furthermore, the church has taken significant steps to support the education of pastors by sending some to universities for further studies. This commitment to education reflects the church’s understanding of the importance of knowledge and training in effective ministry.
Apostle Success Samuel Haruna’s academic credentials are as impressive as his ministry work. Hailing from Kogi State, he holds a BSc in Psychology and three Master’s degrees.
