For the fourth consecutive year, the annual praise and worship night hosted by Nkeiruka Onyejeocha transformed Isuochi into a spiritual haven as renowned gospel sensation Frank Edwards, alongside other talented gospel artists, delivered soul-stirring performances that ascended to the heavens, uplifting the spirits of the gathered crowd.

The crisp Saturday night in Isuochi brought the atmosphere alive with anticipation and the crowd buzzing with excitement. As the lights dimmed, a hush fell over the gathering, and all eyes turned to the stage while they were entertained by several other guest artists.

Suddenly, the unmistakable voice of Frank Edwards boomed through the speakers, “Let’s lift our voices to the heavens.” The crowd erupted into cheers as Frank Edwards, flanked by his team, took the stage. The atmosphere was electric, and the worship leader’s infectious energy was palpable.

With his signature blend of soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Frank led the congregation into the throne room of heaven. The worship was intense, with hands raised, voices lifted, and hearts surrendered. The presence of God was palpable, and the crowd was completely enthralled.

As the night wore on, the worship reached a fever pitch. Frank Edwards’ voice soared, and the instruments swelled, creating a symphony of praise that seemed to shake the very foundations of Isuochi. The crowd was agog, lost in the majesty of God’s presence.

In that moment, it seemed as though the heavens had opened, and the glory of God was pouring down upon the gathering. Tears flowed, hearts were healed, and lives were transformed.

Meanwhile, speaking during the worship service, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, shared her inspiring life story, reflecting on her journey into politics and the challenges she overcame. She credited her success to her faith and commitment to God, acknowledging that her relationship with Him has been the driving force behind her success.

Onyejeocha spoke candidly about her humble beginnings and how God elevated her to positions of leadership, despite facing opposition from those who doubted her youth and abilities. She recounted how she was appointed as a commissioner, a role that many thought she was too young for, and how God’s guidance and support enabled her to excel in her duties.

Throughout her speech, Onyejeocha stressed the importance of listening to God’s voice and trusting in His plan. She encouraged the audience to remain faithful and committed to their values, just as she has done throughout her career.

“I have a covenant with God and I will not stop praising and thanking him. My 2023 was clear on the sight of men but God has His own plans for me, and his plans came to be. And I said to them, God doesn’t make mistakes.

“This is my waiting time and in my waiting time, I will continue to give testimonies upon testimonies”, she said.

Also in a remark, High Chief Kingsley C. Okorie, described the event as one of the best in recent years. Okorie said there was something special about this year’s edition.

“The arrangement was top notch and you could feel the presence of God in the atmosphere. I felt God’s presence and I was felt blessed”, he said.
