A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and the 2023 Ogun State governorship candidate of the party, Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has expressed confidence that the leadership of the re-elected President of the United States of America, Donald Trump will usher in lasting stability across the globe, while congratulating him on the election victory.

Ajadi, a dedicated advocate for good governance, who had previously predicted Trump’s victory in the U.S. elections, has consistently articulated views on both global and national political trends, often demonstrating an impressive ability to foresee outcomes accurately.

His earlier prediction regarding Trump’s success showcases his deep understanding of political dynamics and his commitment to remaining informed on international affairs.

The recent U.S. elections saw Americans turn out in record numbers to vote in a closely watched race between Donald Trump and his challenger, Kamala Harris.

According to him in statement made available to Vanguard on Wednesday, the election, characterized by intense campaigning, captivated global attention, with critical issues such as economic recovery, healthcare, and foreign policy taking center stage.

“Trump, representing the Republican Party, campaigned on a platform centered around economic revival and strong conservative values, while Harris, of the Democratic Party, promised progressive reforms focused on social justice and environmental concerns,” he said.

“The stark contrast between the candidates created a polarized atmosphere across the nation, with observers noting that this election could redefine the United States’ role on the world stage and its approach to pressing domestic issues.”

“As votes were counted, Trump emerged victorious, securing another term in the White House and prompting varied reactions worldwide, ranging from celebration to contemplation of the implications for America’s alliances and domestic policies.”

Ajadi hailed Trump’s victory as a “divine intervention,” asserting that it brings blessings that extend beyond American borders.

“President Trump’s win is a powerful message of hope, not just for Americans but for people all around the world,” Ajadi declared, emphasising Trump’s role as a stabilising force amid current global tensions, particularly in regions where conflicts have heightened fears of a potential world war.

He expressed optimism, predicting that Trump’s leadership could help avert the “looming world war” by promoting diplomacy and de-escalating tensions among powerful nations.

“We believe Trump has the resolve and influence to bring major players to the negotiating table and promote peaceful resolutions to conflicts,” Ajadi remarked.”

“His re-election represents an opportunity for constructive dialogue that could ease global anxieties and strengthen efforts for international peace.”

Ajadi further described Trump’s diplomatic approach as beneficial for emerging markets and African nations, adding that, “This victory symbolises a global movement toward fairness and mutual respect in international relations.”

He expressed hope that Trump’s presidency would foster partnerships with countries like Nigeria, thereby advancing development through collaboration on trade, technology, and security.

Ajadi also highlighted Trump’s commitment to national sovereignty and self-reliance, viewing these principles as valuable lessons for African countries.

“Trump encourages nations to stand strong and use their resources wisely,” he stated, “and this message can inspire African leaders to pursue sustainable, self-reliant growth.”

Ajadi articulated a hopeful vision for the future, adding that, “President Trump’s victory is not merely for America; it’s a victory for all who cherish peace, stability, and cooperation across borders. Under his leadership, we anticipate a renewed era of global stability, where nations can work together toward progress and mutual understanding.”

He reiterated his confidence in Trump’s capacity to unify nations, especially in times of division.

“This is a time for healing, and we trust that Trump will rise to the challenge,” Ajadi posited.
