While laying a solid foundation for the unit, steps have been taken to enhance the Citizenship by Investment Programme standards, aiming to offer quality to the investors, stakeholders, and the local community.
Enhanced team and effective leadership
In order to strengthen the leadership and management within the unit, a board of governors was established, featuring a team of skilled professionals. It is aimed at providing new and strategic oversight of the unit’s operations while ensuring accountability and transparency.
Calvin St Juste also engaged with Authorised Agents (AA), International Marketing Agents (IMAs), the media, and beyond on his world tour to foster communication.
From the first day of operations, the unit appointed an effective team with qualified personnel for the necessary roles after receiving over 1000 applications. The team set up a C-Suite and created an office of the chairman to facilitate streamlined and strategic operations.
Robust Communication and Transparency
Prioritizing customer experience, the unit has taken a proactive approach to streamline the processing and established a ten-week turnaround on application decision-making. A task force has also been formed to address the backlog of pending files and updated application forms.
The customer experience has been further considered by implementing a 24-hour response time and establishing the communication division.
A separate entity was also established to manage and enhance the functioning of the CIU with enhanced executive decision-making. Cutting-edge technology has been formed to track the processing of files and improve the integrity of the CBI Programme.
