The organizers of the Ibadan Startup Fest ISF, have announced that the third edition of the event will drive innovation and collaboration across Africa’s technology ecosystem. 

Scheduled for November 28-30, 2024, in Ibadan, Oyo State, the festival promises to be a vibrant hub for exchanging ideas and forming impactful partnerships aimed at advancing the continent’s tech landscape.

The ISF is an annual gathering of key stakeholders, including regulators, investors, founders, innovators, and ecosystem builders. 

This year’s edition is set to bring together an even wider array of participants, fostering discussions on strategies, sharing success stories, and collaborating on transformative projects. 

With a focus on the latest trends in technology and entrepreneurship, the festival will serve as a catalyst for innovation and sustainable growth across Africa’s startup ecosystem.

Highlighting its significance, the previous editions of ISF have featured notable speakers such as Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, Founder of Future Africa; Satoshi Shinada, CEO of Kerod-Kepple Africa; Seun Fakorede, Executive Advisor to the Oyo State Governor; Adebayo Akande, Senior Special Adviser on ICT to the Oyo State Government; and Temidayo Oniosun, Managing Director of Space in Africa.

The convener of the festival, David Adeleke, expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s event, stating: “Ibadan Startup Fest is more than just a conference; it’s a driving force for change in Africa’s tech landscape. 

“We’re thrilled to create a platform where visionary minds can connect, share ideas, and forge collaborations that will shape the future of startups on the continent.

With strong backing from the Oyo State Government, ISF 2024 reaffirms a shared commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. The event will feature a wide range of activities, including interactive workshops, exclusive networking opportunities, panel discussions, masterclasses, and presentations, offering a holistic experience for executives, innovators, and ecosystem builders.
