The Enugu State Ministry of Education has entered into partnership with Edves, educational technology solutions provider, with a view to leveraging technology to enhance quality education.

A statement made available by Edves said that the partnership encompasses multiple initiatives aimed at revolutionizing the state’s educational landscape and ensuring that quality education reaches every corner.

The firm also announced its pivotal role in the successful implementation of a groundbreaking digital infrastructure for the state education.

According to a statement signed by Head of Media at Edves, Kayode Jegede, said that the significance of the collaboration was further underscored by the allocation of over 30 percent of the state budget to education.

Jegede pointed out that the flagship initiative, the Smart & Green Schools Initiative, stands out as a testament to the collaborative effort.

His words: “Edves has played a key role in integrating experiential curriculum and pedagogy frameworks, utilizing PEARL and CASE models. This strategic move is complemented by an innovative Artificial Intelligence Model designed to revamp the national curriculum and assessments, enhancing the overall learning experience for students.

A total of 260 Smart and Green Schools are being constructed, strategically located in every ward across the state. This ambitious move aims to address UNESCO is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.UNESCO’s independent crises in education by providing tablets to every teacher and student, thereby narrowing the digital divide and improving access to quality education.

“This audacious move directly addresses critical challenges such as the Funding Gap, Digital Divide, and Learning Crisis.

“Edves remains committed to its mission of catalyzing the educational landscape with innovative tools that empower students, schools, educators, and stakeholders. Through this collaboration, Edves contributes significantly to the advancement of education in Enugu State, marking a historic milestone in the journey towards a brighter future for the region.”

The firm however, commended the Governor, Dr Peter Mbah and Commissioner, Prof. Ndubueze Mbah for their visionary leadership which has resulted in noteworthy achievements.

They also commended the leadership of the education ministry for its meticulous attention to detail, robust processes, and iterative approach to ensure the successful realization of this modern-day vision for the state.
