The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Europe chapter has appointed Ijeoma Mercy Seidlitz as Ambassador of the Council in Sweden, just as the council called for more youth inclusion at all levels of governance.
Governor of the Council, Europe chapter, Ambassador Collins Idahosa, who is also based in Sweden, stated this in a chat with Vanguard, adding that the council is now structured to serve the needs of members across Europe.
He called for youth inclusion at all levels of governance, adding that current leaders at home need to bring more youth on board to serve the country for quick transformation and development in all sectors.
He stated that the council and the youth would benefit tremendously from the experience and expertise of Ijeoma Seidlitz.
He also disclosed that the Council Magazine is underway, urging all stakeholders to be part of the process for a befitting maiden edition.
Reacting to the appointment, Seidlitz thanked the President and all members of the NYCN Europe Chapter for their commitment and dedication to changing the youth narratives both in home country and in the diaspora.
Seidlitz is the former youth secretary, Nigerian Union in Sweden.
