Oge Nsimah, a certified realtor and opinion writer, stands out as a professional with a unique journey in the world of real estate, where dreams find their foundations. Her path in the real estate industry started with a passion for properties and the desire to help people find their dream homes.
Certifications in hand, Oge embarked on a path that would lead her to establish Real Buzz Consult, a reputable Real Estate firm known for its commitment to honesty and integrity. But the road to success in Real Estate is not without its share of challenges.
“Real Estate is known as an industry of rollercoaster emotions,” says Oge. “Dealing with clients’ expectations, rejection, and objections sometimes take a toll on our mental health.”
Realtors like Oge often meet strangers daily, touring uncompleted buildings in secluded areas. Safety can be a concern, but their determination keeps them going.
Oge’s advice to aspiring Realtors is to embrace persistence and focus. “Success in Real Estate comes with insane focus,” she asserts. “In life, you’ll encounter more failures than successes, and Real Estate is no exception. Also, make sure that money is not your sole aim in this industry.”

Oge’s own journey is a testament to this advice. A graduate of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, she started as a customer service representative in an MTN walk-in center. However, her heart was set on something different—helping people find their dream homes. Oge started her career as a Sales Representative for MTN before becoming an independent Realtor.
Her inspiration came from her father, a builder, who brought smiles to people’s faces by delivering their dream homes. To build a strong foundation for her Real Estate career, Oge worked with reputable firms in Nigeria, gaining invaluable experience.
Building an online presence was the next step. Active on social media, she made herself accessible to clients and effectively showcased her house listings. Collaborating with numerous Real Estate firms, including a partnership with Earl Beam Realty in Ghana, she earned a reputation for honesty and integrity.
“What inspired me to pursue a career in Real Estate is my passion for helping people achieve their goals,” Oge reveals. “I wanted to contribute my part in helping people and organizations achieve their dream goals and put smiles on their faces.”
With Nigeria facing a housing deficit of an estimated 28 million, Oge is driven by the desire to help secure homes for those in need.
“My biggest achievement is expanding my business connections in Real Estate outside Nigeria,” she proudly states. “Having a world-class Real Estate firm trust my brand to represent them is a huge achievement, alongside helping many families and organizations secure a home.”
Oge lives by a personal motto: “Show yourself to the world, but make sure you don’t show your foolish side because there is no market for foolishness. So, hustle with dignity to prosper in peace.”
In the world of Real Estate, Oge’s journey serves as an inspiration, reminding us that success is born from passion, persistence, and the unwavering commitment to helping others achieve their dreams. Awards and Recognition: Oge was awarded as the Realtor of the Year in 2020 from Bashmoh Homes. She was also included in Pulse Nigeria’s 10 Most Influential People on Facebook 2023.
