OWERRI- The National Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Owerri has fixed December 6, 2011, to rule on the suit filed by Chief Chikwem Onuoha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, against the election of Action Congress of Nigeria’s, ACN, Matthew Omegara.
Onuoha approached the election tribunal, praying it to nullify the victory of Omegara during the April 9, 2011, National Assembly poll for the Okigwe North constituency.
Similarly, judgment has been fixed in the suit filed by John Kekeocha of ACN against PDP’s Celestine Ngobuiwu, over who should represent Obowo state constituency.
