Enlightened Urhobo Patriotic Youths, EUPY, has advised politicians in Delta State not to heat up the polity with regard to the 2015 elections, saying only God can decide who succeeds Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan.

EUYP, in a statement by Mr. Bestman Odibo, Chairman, and Mr. Mike Erumirhi, Secretary, said the advice became imperative to allow the Governor concentrate on ameliorating the plight of Deltans.

The group said the issue of power shift should not be seen as a do-or-die affair by any of the senatorial zones. They also former eulogised Niger Delta militants for embracing peace and creating the right environment for industries to strive in the region.

On the issue of subsidy removal, the group appealed to the Federal Government to handle it with caution and allow peace to reign.

They also called on President Goodluck Jonathan to consider worthy Urhobo sons and daughters for political appointments.
