Sacked Super Eagles Coach, Samson Siasia says that he takes his dismissal by the Nigeria Football Federation in good fate.
Siasia was shown the way out following a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja on Friday.
The Coach’s position became untenable after he failed to steer the Super Eagles to a place at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
Siasia while speaking at the weekend, said that he did his best while at the helm of affairs.
“I take it (my sack) in good fate. I gave it (the job) my all. It’s a pity it had to end this way,” Siasia said.
Siasia did not lose any competitive game during his time at the reign with his only defeat coming in a friendly international against Argentina in Dhaka, Bangladesh on October 11.
The NFF has ordered a committee to meet on Tuesday to recommend a replacement for the sacked Siasia.
