PORT HARCOURT – ALL Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, maintains lead in Rivers state on the presidential elections with result of 17 of the 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) released so far.

Tinubu who has won in 11 LGAs has so far garnered 119,334 votes ahead of Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) who now has 89,286 votes with wins in three LGAs as Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stands third on the log with 63,003 votes, also with wins in three LGAs.

State Collation Officer, for Rivers State, Prof Charles Adias, called for another break after receiving reports from six more LGAs, including highest polling Obio/Akpor to conclude results for Rivers at the time of filing this update.
