MINNA—Two people were reportedly crushed to death at Maikunkele town, headquarters of Bosso Local government area of Niger State by a Toyota Jeep, Wednesday.
The duo, a motorcycle repairer and a five-year-old boy were crushed to death by unkown driver.
Vanguard gathered that the mechanic who was sitting on top of his motorcycle was engaged in a conversation with another woman in front of his house with the boy standing besides the woman along the new market road in the town when the accident occured.
It was said unknown to the trio, the owner of the Toyota Jeep who was allegedly travelling from Bauchi State, ran into them crushing both the machine and the child instantly, but the woman reportedly survived with severe injuries.
It could not be immediately ascertained whether the dead boy was the biological son of the woman.
