Umuahia -THE Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, yesterday, issued Certificates of Return to the three elected senators in Abia State and Dr. Chris Ngige, the senator-elect for Anambra Central senatorial district.

However, Governor Theodore Orji did not receive his own certificate as he was said to have travelled out of town and would be issued his own at a later date.

Those who received their certificates were Chief Uche Chukwumerije, Abia North; Mrs. Nkechi Nwogu, Abia Central, and Chief Enyinnaya Abaribe, Abia South senatorial districts.

Eight members-elect of the House of Representatives in the state were also issued their Certificates of Return as well as the 24 members-elect of Abia State House of Assembly.

Issuing the certificates to them, INEC National Commissioner in charge of South East zone, Chief Philip Umeadi Jnr., urged them to see the election as a call to service and give their people quality representation.
