We won’t underrate Bukola Babes – Eguma

Egu

Dolphin of Port Harcourt boss Stanley Eguma has told his boys to brace up for a battle against visiting Bukola Babes this weekend at the Garden City.

Despite sitting on the league table with four points clear, Eguma made it clear that the league was not over yet and as such, Dolphin will play to win.

Dolphin won away at Zamfara last weekend, but Eguma said that the team should girdle their loins for more hard work in their chase for the title.

“Some persons might look at the table now and say Dolphin must win the title but I have told my players that the league is just beginning.

There are 38 matches to be played and we have not even played up to half of the matches, so there is still a long way to go,” said the coach.

Against Bukola Babes Eguma added: “Any team that underrates Bukola Babes is doing so at its peril. I have heard about them and we have studied their style of play. They are a good side that deserves respect.

“Our home record is solid and I am absolutely certain that with the right preparations, we will beat Bukola this weekend.

“Teams like Rangers, Heartland, Warri Wolves and even Sunsihine Stars have lost when they played against us so Bukola will be no exception,” he said.

Dolphin have won the most number of games (11) in the NPL this term and also boasts the best defensive record as well, having shipped in a miserly 6 goals in 15 matches.
