The Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Honourable Julius Pondi has promised the people of more robust and effective representation that would engender practical development, peace and progress.

Honourable Pondi who stated this while speaking on his overwhelming electoral victory at the just concluded National Assembly polls expressed profound gratitude to the Burutu PDP Campaign Council,elders,leaders, youths, women and the various PDP support groups for their untiring commitment and efforts which gave him victory.

The Federal Lawmaker thanked the Director General of the Delta State PDP Campaign Council, Honourable Funkekeme Solomon, the PDP Delta South Chairman,Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduba,the Chairman and Coordinator of Burutu PDP Campaign Council, Chief P.Y Biakpara and Honourable Julius Takeme stressing that his reelection was the collective efforts of all and would enable him serve the people better.

He commended the efforts of the Secretary of the Burutu Campaign Council,Honourable Godknows Angele,the Burutu PDP Chairman, Mr Ebike Oromoni, Ward Campaign Council Coordinators and Ward Chairmen as well as the Director General, Julius Pondi Campaign Organisation, Honourable Togoland Oruebi and members of the Advisory and Elders Council under the leadership of Elder Victor Awisi saying their efforts which gave him victory at the polls was deeply appreciated.

While thanking members of the Julius Pondi Media Team, Pondified Ambassadors,the Unstoppable Force, Delta Ijaw Youth Movement,Volunteers and other support groups for standing by him throughout the electioneering period Honourable Pondi promised not to relent in his passion to serve and protect the interest of the people of Burutu federal constituency at all times.

Honourable Pondi stated ” by your fresh endorsement and mandate you have asked me to go and do more work to lift Burutu to greater heights,the responsibility thrust on me is enormous and I assure everyone that I will continue to concentrate my efforts on ways and means on improving on the delivery of more dividends of democracy to my constituents”.
