The decline in the value of the naira persisted yesterday, as it depreciated to N362.20 per dollar in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window.

Data from FMDQ showed that the indicative exchange rate for the window rose to N362.20 per dollar from N362.07 per dollar on Monday translating to 13 kobo depreciation of the naira.

The volume of dollars traded on the window rose by 424 percent to $397.32million from $75.84 million on Monday.

However, the naira, yesterday, was stable at N359 per dollar in the parallel market.
