Nigeria’s pre-mier youth sports organisation, the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON), has urged the Super Falcons to up their game as they battle Equatorial Guinea in today’s final of the 7th African Women’s Championship in South Africa.

YSFON’s image-maker, Ben Ekpo, who made the plea told Sunday Vanguard Sports on telephone that: “if the Falcons must beat Equatorial Guinea, they must be ready to play a very robust game and try to win all balls.

“They should also go for early goals as that would help to unnerve the Equatorial Guineans who are very strong and determined to beat the Falcons, especially with some Nigerian-born players in their team,” Ekpo said.

He urged Nigerians to pray for the Eucharia Uche-tutored girls to reclaim the title they lost two years ago to the Equitorial Guineans.
