Obaseki
By Gabriel Enogholase
BENIN—A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State and former Commissioner in Adams Oshiomhole’s government, Mr Ken Ihensekhien, has disassociated himself from the attack on Governor Godwin Obaseki in Edo Central senatorial district by youths of the area.
In a statement in Benin City, yesterday, Ihensekhien said: “My attention has been drawn to some media reports linking me with the attack on Governor Obaseki’s convoy by some angry youths recently in Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area of the state.
“The baseless accusation purportedly made against me by some leaders of the APC in Igueben Local Government Area of the state to say the least, is misguided and politically motivated.”
