Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke has reassured the people of the state of fairness and just treatment if elected governor on September 22, declaring that he is on a mission to set the state free from oppressive rule.

Adeleke made the commitment during an unscheduled homage to the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Larooye 11 in Osogbo, the capital of Osun state.  Adeleke extolled Oba Olanipekun for the progress Osogbo has experienced since he ascended the throne of his forebears, sharing with the King the progress he has made so far since launching his bid to the governorship seat.

“Kabiyesi, I am humbled that though our visit was an impromptu one, you welcomed us with an open arm. Osogbo has been very receptive, and that is why I feel very much at ease whenever I’m here,” he said.
