BENIN—A major crisis is rocking the All Progressives Congress, APC Youth Wing, under the aegis of APC Youth Disciples, Edo Central senatorial district chapter, as a meeting of the group held at Igueben, the administrative headquarters of Igueben Local Government Area of the state, ended in chaos.

One of the groups, in a communique by the acting Senatorial Coordinator, Mr Benson  Odia and Ms Rose Ojoko, Principal Administrative Officer, asked  the state Chairman of the party, Mr Anselm Ojezua, commissioners, special advisers and other political appointees from Esanland,  to resign their appointments with immediate effect if the speakership position brazenly taken from Esan people was not restored within 14 days.

The faction stated that they will not guarantee support and vote for the APC  in 2019 and other subsequent elections if Esan people were not returned into the main stream of Edo politics.
