De Imperial Philanthropic Family, under the leadership of its National President, High Chief Dr. Sir Darlington Nwabunike, on Friday, August 21, 2026, commissioned an ultra-modern classroom block built and donated to Community Secondary School, Nando, Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The commissioning ceremony attracted dignitaries, traditional rulers, government officials, school authorities, teachers, students, and members of the community.

Among those present was Senator Tony Nwoye, representing the Anambra North Senatorial District, who commended the De Imperial Philanthropic Family for its generosity and commitment to improving educational infrastructure in the state. Also in attendance was the Member of the House of Representatives representing the Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, the Chairman of Anambra East Local Government Area, traditional rulers, including the Igwes, as well as students and staff of the school.

The newly commissioned classroom block is one of five classroom blocks constructed and donated by the De Imperial Philanthropic Family to schools across the South-East states as part of its commitment to supporting education and community development.

Speaking at the ceremony, the National President of the organisation, High Chief Dr. Sir Darlington Nwabunike, described the commissioning as a particularly special occasion for the family.

According to him, the project was commissioned in honour of the coronation of their Grand Patron, His Royal Majesty Dr. Chinedu Benson Madubuko, the Eze Chinechendo of Adazi-Ani.

He said the initiative reflects the organisation’s philosophy of giving back to society and contributing meaningfully to the development of communities, particularly through investments in education.

The commissioning further highlights the growing role of philanthropic organisations and community-minded individuals in complementing government efforts to provide quality educational infrastructure for Nigerian children.

De Imperial Philanthropic Family reiterated its commitment to extending its humanitarian and developmental initiatives to more communities across the South-East and beyond.
