OSOGBO — The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has pledged that state resources will be managed inclusively and used for the benefit of all residents if elected.

Speaking at the unveiling of his campaign manifesto in Osogbo on Friday, Oyebamiji said his administration would prioritise transparency, accountability, and equitable distribution of resources.

“We will strengthen financial management and ensure that public resources are utilised for the benefit of all,” he said.

He explained that the manifesto, tagged “PROSPER,” outlines a development agenda aimed at promoting economic growth, improving governance, and enhancing public confidence in government.

According to him, agriculture would play a central role in his administration’s plans, with a focus on boosting food production and supporting farmers to improve food security in the state.

Oyebamiji also highlighted plans to modernise education infrastructure, expand technical and vocational training, and recruit and support teachers to improve learning outcomes.

He added that his administration would create a more supportive and efficient public sector through workforce training and improved working conditions.

Earlier, the state APC chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, described the manifesto unveiling as a reflection of the party’s readiness to deliver effective governance.

He said the document outlines priorities including security, job creation, agricultural development, education, healthcare, and grassroots governance.

Lawal added that the manifesto represents the party’s commitment to addressing the needs of residents across the state.
