Fast-rising Nigerian artist, Satumari Godfrey Chaie, popularly known as TOOLZ, has dropped a new single titled Talking to Myself, a soulful record that mirrors his life and growth.

The 24-year-old singer from Obalende, Lagos, said the song came from deep personal reflection and the desire to remind himself to stay grounded.

“It’s about knowing where I came from and staying focused on where I’m going,” TOOLZ said.

He explained that the single was inspired by his everyday life and the struggles of people around him.

“The streets, the people, and the daily hustle all inspire my music,” he added.

TOOLZ, who is known for blending Afrobeats, Afrohouse, and Amapiano, said Talking to Myself carries a message of strength, belief, and perseverance.
