ONITSHA – Hon. Paschal Agbodike, representing Ihiala Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has expressed confidence that Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State will secure a second term with little opposition.

Speaking to journalists at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral, Awka, during a Thanksgiving service marking Soludo’s third year in office, Agbodike emphasized that the governor deserves another term due to his transformative impact across critical sectors.

“Soludo has covered all areas of development—education, infrastructure, employment, empowerment, and more. No one is truly contesting against him; his second term is done and dusted,” he asserted.

He urged Ndi Anambra to unite in endorsing Soludo, dismissing opposition efforts as wishful thinking. “Some pockets of opposition are running from pillar to post, imagining there’s a vacancy in Agu-Awka Government House come November 8,” he added.

Agbodike suggested that Soludo might even run unopposed, citing widespread support across constituencies and local governments. “In Ihiala, my constituency, we’ve unanimously endorsed him, and many other communities feel the same due to his transformation agenda,” he said.

He praised Soludo’s leadership, aligning it with the values of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and expressed gratitude to those contributing to the state’s progress. “I look forward to his overwhelming victory,” Agbodike concluded.
