Rising Nollywood actress Chioma Ivoke, popularly known as Chomyblack, has stated that age is not a significant factor when it comes to dating.

In an exclusive interview with Potpourri during her birthday celebration, Chomyblack revealed her perspective on relationships, saying,

“When it comes to love, sometimes we fall for older or younger individuals. To me, it’s about the heart and maturity, not age. However, when it comes to dating, I don’t care about age—older or younger—a man remains the head of the affairs.”

Reflecting on her experiences in 2024, Chomyblack described the year as challenging but filled with reasons for gratitude. She shared her heartfelt appreciation for her mother’s recovery from a critical health condition, saying, “At some point, I was scared she wouldn’t make it, but mercy said no.” Beyond personal challenges, the actress celebrated a major career milestone, having landed an endorsement deal with the international skincare brand Simmy Clear.

When asked if it is difficult for actresses to find love, Chomyblack responded, “I cannot speak for everyone, but I believe love is a beautiful thing. We all deserve to be loved right, regardless of our career choices or fields.”

Chomyblack also reflected on her craft, expressing her passion for taking on demanding roles. “Whatever roles are considered tough to me are not usual because not everyone can play them. I love to be dared with such roles,” she said.
