Osun State First Lady, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke with her team visited an orphanage to interface with the children in the spirit of Christmas.
The Governor’s wife, who had earlier visited The Lord’s Heritage Orphanage in Oke Gada, Ede, made a similar visit to the Little Angels of Fatima Catholic Home for Motherless and Abandoned Babies, in Oshogbo, the State Capital.
Erelu Ngozi Adeleke made donations of cash and consumable items to enable the children enjoy the holiday.
This was contained in a statement personality signed by the Governor’s wife and made available to newsmen by her media aide, Nwaru Caroline Oluchi.
The statement read: “Following our visit to The Lord’s Heritage Orphanage Home for a Christmas celebration and the generous donation of gift items, my team and I continued our mission by heading to the Little Angels of Fatima Catholic Home for Motherless and Abandoned Babies situated at Odi Olowo Street, Jaleyemi junction in Osogbo, the Capital City of Osun State.
“In the true spirit of Christmas, symbolizing the birth of Jesus Christ, we extended our outreach by distributing not only food items but also various other thoughtful gifts to the little angels residing in the care of this Catholic home.
“It is our belief that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves to experience the warmth and joy that the holiday season brings. Our commitment to spreading cheer and goodwill during this festive period is not just a gesture but a reflection of the values we hold dear.
“The Little Angels of Fatima Catholic Home serves as a haven for innocent souls and our collective efforts aim to brighten their world and instill hope for a brighter future, hence the visits which represent small yet meaningful steps.”
The Governor’s wife added that it is her hope that others would join her in “spreading love and joy especially to those who need it most.”
