The City of Kano witnessed yet another magnificent showcase of African Fashion as Glitterand Events hosts Fashion Mingle 2.0 in Grand style.

Fashion Mingle is a platform that provides creative entrepreneurs and fashion enthusiasts the opportunity to showcase their collections, talents and connect with potential customers and like-minded individuals.

The event, which was held from June 3rd to 4th at the prestigious Africa Anchor Event hall, Kano State brought together the crème de la crème of the fashion world, showcasing talented designers and models who left no stone unturned to redefine the industry’s standard.

During the event, panel discussions were held on topics such as sustainability, ethical fashion, and the future of Nigerian fashion.

Speaking at the event, the Founder of Glitterand Events, Miss Maryam Ibrahim expressed her excitement about the event.

“Fashion mingle is not just a fashion show; it is a celebration of our culture, creativity, and ingenuity. It’s a platform that empowers young creative designers to showcase their immense talent to the world,” she said.

Key industry experts and Business clinic consultants like Dr. Shukrah Bello, Ola Barnabas, Tayo Oni, and Osamudiame Olumese engaged in thought-provoking conversations, shedding light on the direction the industry should take to promote inclusivity and positive change.

In an exclusive interview with the CEO of Shafana Innovate Hub, Dr. Shukrah Bello, said she was delighted to be a part of yet another creative initiative aimed at supporting creatives and creating opportunities for them.

She added that the industry is capable of providing job opportunities for young enthusiasts willing to dive into the fashion industry.

The show also provided an opportunity for emerging designers to shine, as participants from across Nigeria showcased their designs.

Zainab Yusuf, a rising star in the industry, presented her collection inspired by Traditional Yoruba Adire. “I am honored to be part of this event and to have the chance to showcase my designs. It’s a dream come true,” she said, beaming with pride.
