Embrace peace during/after elections — Nigerians told

The Eronlanx Studio and Lagos Peace Club, LCP, have urged Nigerians to embrace peace as the February 25th presidential elections draw close.

The duo gave their counsel in a statement obtained by our correspondent in Abuja. The Founder/Creative Director of Eronlanx Studio, Daniel Eronlan, said that Nigeria needs peace to have a free and fair election.

According to him, “As we match towards February 25th, the tension in the air becomes increasingly undeniable. Violence is seeing more airtime than it should.

“With that being said, we hope you will join us and preach peace in this election because a peaceful election breeds a free and fair election and guarantees that the people’s chosen candidate becomes the number one man for Nigeria.

“Nigeria, one of the most populous countries in Africa, is known for its political complexity and diversity. The country is blessed with abundant resources and a rich cultural heritage. However, its political landscape has been marred by corruption, election rigging, and violence. Eronlanx studio is joining forces with the LPC, by taking up the role to promote PEACE in the forthcoming elections and subsequent ones between citizens, parties and rival groups amongst others. Preach PEACE (Please Engage All Citizens Equally).

“Eronlanx studio has carved out a niche by spreading the African narrative through visual aids. However, this time the studio has a step further to preach peace during the forthcoming elections through visual aids. This will be possible through its partnership with the Lagos peace Club (LPC). The LPC are a forerunner in the promotion of peace through and within communities present in Lagos and beyond.

“Chaos makes election rigging very easy. Peace is what we need to make this work. One of the biggest challenges during the Nigerian presidential election is the potential for chaos and violence.
