The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has vowed by 6 pm the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s victory will be done and dusted.

Director of the Diaspora Directorate at the Presidential Campaign Council PCC and Chairman of the APC in the United Kingdom, Prince Ade Omole made this vow on Monday in Abuja while speaking with journalists at the national secretariat of the party.

The Presidential and National Assembly elections for 2023 have been scheduled to hold on Saturday, the 25th of February.

Meanwhile, the PCC also said it has reached an agreement with British Airways and Lufthansa to offer special discounts to diasporans who would be returning to the country for the polls.

According to the PCC, the move was initiated in the best interest of Nigeria’s democracy without prejudice to the voting choices of the returnees.

He stated, “We have reached an agreement with BA and Lufthansa to grant discounts to Nigerians coming back to vote.

“We didn’t go with a list to say only APC members be given discount but that everyone should benefit”, he added.

,Omole who is also the Chairman of Nigeria Diaspora Voting Council said the APC standard bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has promised to work with the National Assembly to ensure greater inclusion of Nigerians in the Diaspora in the country’s political process.

He said the directorate has gone around several countries, campaigning for Tinubu, and that the number of Nigerians with Permanent Voter Cards PVCs in Cotonou, Benin Republic, and who are willing to come vote for Tinubu was shocking.

“The global feedback is positive. We have over 1.6 million diasporans and if o qere to hazard a guess, I believe that close to a million will be coming to vote for Tinubu.

“I strongly believe that by 6 pm on Saturday, the 25th of February, we will be celebrating the election. Remember we can actually view the result in real-time online. Yes, INEC may still take their time because they have to do the collation obviously, officially, but I strongly believe that this election would be done and dusted by 6pm.

“Why do I say that? Like I mentioned earlier on, you need to see the feedback from the people. We were at the flag-off in Jos, I was in Kano, I was in Minna, I was in Borno, you need to see the response from Nigerians. They just can’t wait. I don’t see any runoff in this election and I believe that by 6pm, we will be done and dusted.

“Obviously, our principal is head and shoulder above any other person out there and Nigerians have actually responded well and I am sure that they will come out en masse to vote for him

“Probably on Monday, we would be back here and I am going to refer to this day that I said that we will be done by 6pm”, he added.
