Dean Kelechi Nwokocha, a singer-songwriter, composer and beat maker is set to dominate the world with his music. The musician based in Texas and  popularly called, DeanKelly added that he wants to use his music to unleash emotion in people.

Following his new relationship with The Orchard Sony Music and being currently signed under the record label R.E.D.(Real Entertainment Denominations), the Nigerian American artist has established himself as a household brand.

When asked what accomplishments he sees himself achieving in the next 5 to 10 years, DeanKelly replied, “Breaking boundaries in music and taking my genre internationally and beyond. DeanKelly  has the words “passion” written all over him, and there couldn’t be a more accurate description. “I became passionate about music the day I saw someone cry after listening to a song, I was surprised as to how can words and melodies do that. I want my music to be able to do that, to touch people in ways that make them feel connected to me, my voice, and my melody.

I’ve always loved music growing up so I’m grateful to my creator for giving me this gift of creating music. The love for making music and the effect music has on people , I want to heal people with my music, I want to affect people in a good way with my music , I want to make them happy, make them dance , make them love and I want to make history while doing this, he stated.

 The young Nigerian recording artist prides himself in creating feel-good Afropop and R&B records, putting on for Africa in the best way he knows how. “People have described my sound as being a rare blend of R&B, Funk and Afro pop. What differentiates me from the rest of people is my style and versatility”.

Starting music early helped DeanKelly decipher and master his style and sound, “I wrote my first song in high school can’t really remember the year exactly. I think I was 14 at the time , my first official release was 2016 and shortly started playing shows after that.

My ‘aha’ moment was when I wrote a song and I would sing it to people and they were like that song is so good you should record it and I did lol, people would love the song. In fact, a friend of mine loved it so much he would play his version on the piano whenever I came by his room in college. I’ve always loved music growing up so I’m grateful to my creator for giving me this gift of creating music.

Inspired by the likes of Wizkid , T-pain, Wande coal, Jay z , Ed Sheeran, Adele etc., each one of them with their vibes, style, and techniques in singing and composition, DeanKelly has promised to steady provide his fans with premium tunes and vibes.
