2019 Warri/Effurun peace marathon champion, Emmanuel Gyan has said he was looking forward to more of the race as it was a huge motivation in his ambition to be a world class runner.

“After Michael proposed, we both went to my parents to give them the good news. As soon as they got glimpse of the sparkling engagement ring, they were ecstatic. ‘You’ve got a good man here, Lynda’, my mum beamed.  `My son-in-law to be!’ dad added, giving Mike a very warm handshake. I couldn’t wait to get married and my parents urged us to go ahead with our wedding plans – they were paying.  What’s more, we should spare no expense.

I have come to respect the fact that of all these happenings, there is none that undue worries or thoughts can change. Therefore the reality of life is to know when to pause, restock and design strategies for things that matter most to us

We have in the past espoused the adage; that it takes a village to raise a child. We have not collectively raised our young people. That is the truth and sadly so

We need to show love to one another. Show love to the work of God with your service, thanksgiving and praises all the time as a demonstration of our love for Him who first loved us
