The Edo State Government has said that its Strategic Health Development Plan would strengthen structures and institutions to deliver sustainable health care to the people and help reduce morbidity and mortality from major and common illnesses in the state.

A Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa presided over by Justice (Mrs) A. O. Awogboro, yesterday ordered the Joint Task Force, coded named Operation Delta Safe, OPDS, to pay the sum of N1million as damages to a nursing mother, one Mrs Yeibra Esingha for illegal detention.
