Voting is yet to commence in many areas of Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State following issues arising from the shortage of ballot papers.

84 voting polling centres are affected and the polling officials and security men as at noon were still camped at the Registration Area Centre.
VANGUARD gathered that the political party agents upon the realisation of the shortage of ballot papers agreed to demobilise until the issue is resolved.

An official of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC told VANGUARD that the Electoral Officer in charge had gone to the Yaba office of INEC to work out how to resolve the issue.
At least 55,000 voters are affected by the development
