BENIN CITY – NOT less than 100 million viewers worldwide would now be opportuned to watch both live and recorded Christian messages as well as various local programmes through an American-based Satelli-te television station, Eagles TV.
The partnership which is set to boost expansion of Christianity and local Nigerian programmes would be beamed across 70 countries of the world.
This was disclosed by the co-chairman of the station and the General Overseer of Divine Grace of Glory Ministry, Mr. Peter Obase-ki, at a press briefing in Benin City on Thursday.
Obaseki stressed that the overriding interest was to bring to global notice, through the station that is popular in Europe, Ameri-ca and Sub-Sahara Africa, Christian messages and programmes, news and activities about Nigeria.
“Our programme content is to promote Christianity and evangelism but this goes beyond religious acti-vities. Aside broadcast of social programmes, we are beaming to our viewers other activities that are impactful to the society.
“Our aim is also to ensure that news and activities about Nigeria and Edo State in particular, espec-ially from the grassroots, is passed to the world,” stated Obaseki.
