Delta youths back Igbakpa’s aspiration for N-Assembly

Oghara—Over 4,000 youths in Ethiope federal constituency, Delta State, most of them from Oghara axis, have matched through major streets across the constituency, in what they termed as, “Solidarity rally in support of Mr Ben Igbakpa’s aspiration to contest the 2019 general election for Ethiope federal constituency.”

The youths, who spoke through their leaders, Favour Idede, Paul Iya, Elizabeth Okitaire, Baba Farau and Bobi Victor, among others,  insisted that “Mr Ben Igbakpa was the right person to represent the constituency at the Green Chamber, come 2019, as such, all other aspirants currently jostling for the position should quit and join forces with him.

“Currently, we consider Igbakpa who has contributed immensely to the development of the constituency, to be elected and we are only waiting to officially do so in 2019. Therefore, there is no vacancy for another person on the behalf of this constituency in House of Representatives, come 2019.

“Igbakpa is an illustrious son of Oghara where no person has earlier been allowed to proceed to the National Assembly since 1999 and we consider it as marginalization of Oghara which must be remedied in 2019, with Igbakpa in the House of Representatives.”
