ABA- AHEAD of the 2019 general elections, a governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in Imo State, Chief Okey Ezeh, has urged Christians in Nigeria to get more involved in politics in order to bring God’s standard into politics as well as credible leaders who would govern with the fear of God.
Eze, who is the national president of the Purgatorian Society of Nigeria, insisted that the nation needs more Godly people who are willing to live by His standards in order to retard evil and promote good governance.
“For there to be a change in civil governance in Nigeria, Christians must rise up and get involved. Christians must get more involved to elect God fearing leaders who will bring God’s ethical standards into governance,” he said.
Lamenting that politics has been turned into a tool for mass operation because the arena has been left for people who don’t fear God, he noted that the essence of government is to ensure justice and welfare of the citizenry.
