ASABA—THE member representing Ukwuani Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Dr Alphosus Ojo has presented his score card to his constituents with a promise to attract more dividends of democracy to the area when given another opportunity to serve.
Speaking when he led his supporters on a visit to the leadership of PDP and stakeholders iof the party at its secretariat in Obiarukwu, headquarters of Ukwuani local government council, Ojo announced his intention to contest the 2019 State House of Assembly election under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, stressing that he is seeking reelection to consolidates achievements he recorded as a member of the House.
The lawmaker who is the Chairman, House Committee on Health disclosed that over the years as the representative of the people he attracted about 85 projects that cut across all sectors of the economy to Ukwuani local government area and was determined to do more in collaboration with other stakeholders.
He noted that the voice of the people of Ukwuani was very pronounced on the floor of the state legislature as he sponsored bills and motions as well as contributed qualitatively to debates where the interest of the constituents were canvassed.
